The only commonality in this contest was the fact that entrants set out to create panoramas. The guidelines were simple: use at least 5 frames, create a final piece no more than 3000 pixels tall / wide, and stick to traditional darkroom techniques. By August 1st I had received a total of 453 submissions which met the contest criteria. Stunning. Each piece was different from the last - different views, different subjects, different concepts, and different ways of finding loop-holes within the contest rules.
The winning entries reflect the difficulty of creating a panorama - from harsh lighting conditions, finding a sweeping view in dense urban architecture, or exposing all four walls of a tiny apartment in a 360 degree photog

INSTRUCTIONS // Deviants from around the dA sphere are asked to make a piece which represents at least one of the four main seasons (Summer, Fall, Winter, or Spring), using at least one 3d medium in the basis for their submission. This means you're allowed to use any other means and methods for your work, but at least 1 element in your piece needs to be easily identifiable as coming from a 3d program in some way (ie: from 3d Studio Max, Cinema 4D, Rhino, Bryce, Blender, Lightwave, Maya, Vue, Poser, Terragen, etc...). Then when you post your submission, place it in the Contests >> Seasons of 3D section, and simply mention which season you're attempting to represent in the description, so that your submission will be eligible for judging.

Formed in Toronto in 1988, they are best know for their hit singles, "One Week", "Pinch Me", "If I Had $1000000" and "Brian Wilson", and have grown to become one of North America's best-loved live acts.
